Study abroad?

i would love to study abroad. does where you go have to be related to your major? i know kids go to spain if theyre studying spanish, but what if i just want the experience.

right now my major is undeclared.

Study abroad?
It doesn't matter what your major is, or where you go really, so long as you GO.

Studying abroad will broaden your horizons no matter what degree or job you end up getting. If you can link your study abroad program to your degree, so much the better, but that's not really a requirement.

Studying abroad will make you more aware of the world outside of the US, and make you a more well rounded person - something that will make you stand out from other applicants when you're looking for that first job right out of college.

Honestly, I think all college students should be required to do at least a month abroad during their studies, if not a whole year. You can't imagine how much stuff you'll learn or just how profoundly it will change you (for the better).
Reply:No, you don´t need to. There is a program that accepts participants that never took Spanish before. Check it out: www.beautifulspain.com It´s a terrific experience that will benefit you tremendously in many different ways This program screens their host families really well and as a result they are wonderful, loving and caring. You will feel just like at your own home. There are many students who are returnees in this program so great it is. They return home raving about their experience. This programs allows you come with a friend to stay with or on your own. They also offer for you to choose among their host families for a perfect fit. The location is unbeatable: a beach resort town and one of the safest places in Europe. The best thing is that you can enrol for half the usual price when you contact through their web directly ( as organizations that buy this program sell it for a lot more). The program offers included in this cost tons of fun and exciting activities and excursions such as bullfight, paella dinner, dancing, cooking, Spanish language classes (mostly conversational. including for those who never took the language), Tallship vessel excursion, fireworks on the beach, Roman hiking trip, Canoeing down the river, medieval town, prehistoric caves, beach days, shopping, Guggenheim museum, etc...
