Are there any study abroad programs that cater to those who are not enrolled in school?
I want to study abroad in italy but I'm not enrolled in a college or university.
Are there any study abroad programs that cater to those who are not enrolled in school?
You could enroll directly (or semi-directly) into a university or institute in Italy.
Search "Study Abroad Programs". Some of those programs should have something that can work for you.
The answer is: I'm pretty sure, yes.
Reply:Well, if you are not enrolled at an instituition, I assume you mean you want to travel and stay abroad as a college-aged person, without actually studying. Is that correct? If that is the case, there are many work and volunteer abroad programs avaliable to you. You can choose to do volunteer work, work for a short term in the hospitality industry (hotel/hostel work, etc.), do an au pair where you would stay with a family abroad and care for children/houswork in exchange for room and board and a small additional stipend, intern abroad, or even teach english abroad, though this is more difficult to get and I believe you need certain certification. There are also other options available to you, a great deal of which can be found on the transitions abroad website. Transitions abroad lists companies and organizations who facilitate opportunities abroad for those who seek work abroad with those who can provide it. I would begin by doing some research there, and perhaps check out your local library or bookstore for books and guides about travel, work, and study abroad. They can be great sources for information, as they are written by people who have done and have gained experience-based knowledge in what you desire to do. Good luck!

Reply:Study Abroad: You can take admission in Australian Universities with toefl score but even then you will have to take your IELTS exam as it is a mandatory requirement by the Australina Visa High Commission.
Reply:NO, U need IELTS
Reply:Some universities may accept the TOEFL score, try it.
If they have any such requirements then the would post it on their admission site , so just use their Contact Us Button and ask.
They speak and use classic English language officially but they do have very peculiar words in general for lots of thing. They are not very shy to use them liberally.
Reply:Try looking Here. It’s an excellent site with some wonderful options for you. You won't regret opening it. It will definitely help you. Have a look.

What are some good countries i can go to study abroad?
I always wanted to travel and possibly study abroad, what countries would you recommend for an American college student interested in writing?
What are some good countries i can go to study abroad?
England, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore. These are countries where English is spoken and I consider "safe" for any American student to go mingle and study. The sources below are only for your references.
Reply:I would suggest staying in your own country. There are so many things that can happen these days flying and going to countries unless you know someone there who can help you if you need it. It is really not a safe thing for a young person to go to a strange country by themselves. There are too many horrible things happening. There are people we look for students and adults who are alone. It sounds exciting to be somewhere exciting; but the excitement isn't all it seems to be.
Reply:He said Netherlands because drugs (marijuanna, etc.) and prostitution is legal in Amsterdam. LOL
I would consider going to England, because you obviously know the language and England has a lot of fascinating tourist attractions. Also, someplace like Germany/Italy/France would be nice, because while there you can take weekend trips by train to various European countries. I think you can get a good writing education anywhere in Western Europe, that'll probably be your best bet.
Reply:it's good but 1st u check the college will be recognizes or not after u get admission in any collage in America .
Reply:Netherland....and you know why

Where in France would it be best to study abroad?
I plan to study abroad in France during the 2009/2010 academic year and I wanted to know from people with experience what city would be best. The program I plan to apply through gives the options of Bordeaux, Grenoble, Lyon, and Toulouse.
Where in France would it be best to study abroad?
Hello,
Talking about the cities you have mentioned, here is the deal
Bordeaux : Wine Capital of the World. Huge number of vineyards there. Closer to the coast
Lyon: Gastronomic (Culinary) Capital of France. Try out all the delicacies there.
Toulouse: One of the highest students populations in France. Closer to Spain, so more fun. I guess the Pharmaceutical capital of France and has many engineering schools
Grenoble has the Grenoble Graduate School of Business. Other than that I don't know much try looking up Google for details about it.
For further queries, contact http://www.campusfrance.org/en and look for their offices in your country. They will help you out free of cost. They are the official people to assist international students.
All the best!
Reply:The riviera, beautifull country side, that attractes the art in people.Pofessionals are great, but command of your talent developed into artistry, is better by far.

Is it very expensive to study abroad for a semester?
I was thinking that I would like to spend a semester studying abroad in another country (I'm studying the language in school)but I don't have much money to put in on it. Are there loans or financial assistance for students who want to study abroad or do I need to have a certain amount of money on hand before I can consider doing it?
Is it very expensive to study abroad for a semester?
well it can be...
i am going to france this year for my whole junior year and it is about 9 350 dollars, including ticket and school and home stay..
i am going with Intrax, however i am sure you can find other cheaper websites...also they have fundraisers and scholarships opportunities.
