Does anybody know about study abroad programs?

I want to study abroad for a summer, but a lot of them are so expensive (like around $7000). I want to study politics or something in London.

Can anyone recommend a program or could you please respond if you have any first-hand experience?

I'd super-appreciate it. Thanks!

The cost to study in the UK for one year for an American student is £14,775
Reply:I went to France with ISA (International Studies Abroad). Here's the link to their London programs:

It looks like their summer program costs about 6500, although you can go for 3500 for half the summer.

What I'd really recommend, though, is trying to do something through your school. A lot of universities will set up study abroad programs so that it costs about the same as doing the same amount of time at your home university.

One word of caution, though: my sister studied for a year in London, and although the tuition and lodging was comparable to a year in the US, everything else was SO expensive (because 1 pound = almost 2 dollars!). So consider the cost of the country where you're going as well. I wonder if Australia might have more affordable costs of living?

***Sorry, I don't know anything about study abroad programs for high school.
