How much would it cost me to study abroad?

I'd love to go to England or Ireland.

I'm fluent in English and I want to study physics and maybe something else too (like philosophy).

Is there anything else I should know?

How much would it cost me to study abroad?

Most large schools require that you can pay four years of tuition and fees in advance (or at least have proof of those funds). This means you must show an average of $120,000 before they will give you the appropriate student visa. I also had to prove that I had significant funds to travel back and forth from here (Washington, DC to Edmonton, Alberta - average $1000 expense).

Once I had my visa there were other stipulations attached to that such as, I have to be a full time student whether I need the credits that semester or not. I have to maintain a B average. I have to "check in" with my international advisor at least twice each semester. Etc etc etc....

You will know more if you contact the schools that you are interested in. Good luck!

And PS - I love that you are from Slovenia! My Grandparents are Slovenian. They immigrated to Canada and started their family there. My mother was the first one born in Canada. I've always wanted to see the county.
