Is it safe for an American female to study abroad for a semester in an American university in the UAE?
Is it safe for an American to study abroad in the United Arab Emirates?
I can't speak as to the rest of the country, but I think that Dubai is very safe. Most of the people in Dubai are expatriates, and many of them are from the United States or England.
Reply:In open cities, yes. But not in purely muslim parts.
