Study abroad?

They are calling 06 the yr of study abroad?! hmm..well Im think about it, but Im a biology major, whats out there for my major? Any ideas? maybe internships? Has anyone been?

Study abroad?
I was thinking about studying abroad in Germany. I met some German recruiters at a college fair and got some really interesting information about it -- I was thinking about doing my master's there. First and foremost, Germany has a much different higher education system than here in the US -- most colleges there are free (although it depends on which German state its in). They teach you in English until you've fully learned German too. There were programs there in virtually every field of study.
Reply:Hi,,,, wow,, the year of study abroad... wow,,, 30 yrs ago... I was in college in London. there were 28 of us that went.. now the Univ that I went thru has thousands that go.... i am impressed...


ok,, look ,, look up international studies and see what it says... if that does not work.... look up the University of Southern Mississippi,, they have an international studies program... and also Michigan State Univ has one.... (probably a lot more do now).. but that was the only 2 ,, 30 yrs ago that had this offer....

Reply:YUP! Switzerland offers internships in big parmasutical companies like Roche and Syngenta... but there are no big Unis around that are known for their biology studies...
