I am a 10th grade student at a private high school in the United States. Is there any way that i can study abroad in another country for all or part of my 11th grade or 12th grade year or years?
Is it possible for me to study abroad?
Of course! "Foreign Exchange" programs have been around for years. I didn't travel until I left High School, but I have friends who spent a semester abroad while in high school. I also have friends who hosted students in the U.S.
Check out the Web site below -- and search for others. Travel is one of the most important things you will do during high school and college. It is a very important part of your education.
If money is an issue, do whatever it takes (provided it is legal) to get yourself on a plane. I planned and saved for two years to go to Europe when I graduated.
It is well worth it...particularly if you aren't a person who goes abroad and doesn't mind things being different than they are at home. Many people go to other countries and are surprised that air-conditioning is non-existant, food is weird and people are more reserved than Americans. It's humbling to travel.
You have to treat it like you are a guest in the country you are visiting...because you are.

Reply:Yes it is possible
Reply:I think it is. Why don't you contact a special agency so that you can find many student exchange programs and the best solution to what you want? You should also start thinking about a country or region you'll like to stay in, that will make the work much easy! I suggest you to consult this agency: Rotary Youth Exchange.
